Cell Phone Policy

Students are not permitted to use cell phones at any time while in the school building or yard. Cell phones should be turned off and remain in the student’s backpack during the school day. When necessary, students may ask to use a phone in the main office to contact a parent.

The first time a child is seen with a cell phone, he/she is given a warning and told to put it away. The second time, the child will have to give the cell phone to a staff member, and a parent or guardian will be required to come to the school to retrieve it from the Assistant Principal Mondays 8:15 – 8:45 AM or 2:15 – 2:45 PM. If this becomes a consistent issue, further consequences will be discussed.
