The vision of PS 145 school’s stakeholders is to support all students through building on their strengths, family and community collaboration, rigorous instruction, social-emotional development, and an inclusive environment so that every child, regardless of background, becomes a healthy and productive adult.

PS 145 is also deeply committed to the development of communication skills, specifically through the arts: visual, performing, fiber arts and horticulture. We are committed to providing our students with ample opportunities to help them learn what their interests are and help them harness the skills they all have within them. We tap into these particular interests of our staff in hopes of bringing some of that excitement to our students.

Our garden serves as a space to support the educational goals of our school, expose students to fresh and healthy garden produce, encourage stewardship of our environment, strengthen school community and provide a place of exploration for our students.
